Hi Ricck and Sherry, I congratulate you upon thy work of serving the many Ugandan needy ones. Peace and blessings in the Lord to you, your family members, the people that God entrust and your ministry. Its my hope and prayers that all are going on well with you and your work.
This is John Paul Kibalama from Uganda, I am a Sub-County Speaker Butuntumula Sub-County, Luwero District Uganda.
I wish to share with you alittle about the area current problem, due to the results of the much sunshine, its very very hot here, water and food has become a big problem.
I am giving you, Kakabala Parish; Kakabala Parish has 40 surface wells all are dried (empty no water) Though these surface well has a mud water but people do use as a domestic use, (cooking food, washing plates, cups and when boiled they drink), The whole parish has one valley dam, and its not in the middle of the parish as it serves two parishes, some people travell 8 Kilometres to get that valley dam, water is a big big problem, this dam serves both people and animals, you can’t imagine the need of water now!!!!!!!!! The whole Parish also has 13 deep bore-holes of which only 4 in use, others are out of order, need to be repaired which is very expensieve according to this poor community.This area is left behing due to remoteness of this area and the people do not get the Government programmes in time.. When the weather goes like that, we are soon gonna see younger children and elder die because of water and food!!
